Clinton's Historic Red Mill, nestled against the South Branch of the Raritan River, is the most photographed scene in New Jersey. The Red Mill Museum Village offers a peek into this historic 200-year-old mill, it is an important part of the town's history and serves as a fascinating museum.  The Hunterdon Art Museum directly across the South Branch of the Raritan River presents changing exhibitions of contemporary art. There are plenty of options for outdoor enthusiasts, including hiking the Landsdown Trail, kayaking the South Branch of the Raritan River or fishing at Spruce Run Reservoir
