At the entrance of Tewksbury, NJ,  is a quaint and charming section called Oldwick. Upon arrival you are immediately greeted by romantic Victorian homes, an antique store or two, and Melick's Town Farm and Oldwick Cider Mill & Orchard where the residents shop its fresh grown produce and delicious baked breads and pies. The cider donuts are a must. In the heart of charming Oldwick, stands the famous Tewksbury Inn . This historic 1800's Inn offers upscale American fare in a formal dining room and rustic tavern. Locals pour into "The Tewks" every night of the week and visitors come from far and wide to experience and feast on the delicious options served. It is truly one of New Jersey's best restaurants. Right next door is the Oldwick General Store which dates back to 1760. This is also a staple of Tewksbury and for its residents. Guests line up for the best sandwiches prepared on homemade breads and beautifully presented gourmet breakfasts.  While the town itself may not have a large commercial district, the residents here are sublimely happy with the options the town has to offer. There are also nearby areas where residents can find an additional selection of dining experiences and shopping opportunities.

Tewksbury and its surrounding areas offer beautiful trails for hiking and outdoor activities. weather it biking, hiking or kayaking, the  Washington Valley Park, the Columbia Trail, and the Round Valley Recreation Area are all ideal options for outdoor enthusiasts. Tewksbury is an agricultural region, so its residents and visitors take advantage of the local farms and orchards.  While Tewksbury my be a quiet town, its proximity to other areas and its own natural beauty make it an ideal spot for outdoor activities, exploration of history, and relaxation in a charming rural setting.
